Well, we've made it. 21 sessions after introducing ourselves at the Granary at Founders, we are now approaching our final session.
Congratulations on making it through - top effort!
Tonight (as it will be darker) we will aim to go for a quick walk and jog in the Maitai. Please wear bright clothing, (if you have reflective clothing, pop this on over top too). The brighter the better! Park at the start of the valley (at the same carpark we used for MTB'ing - any latecomers can continue driving further up the valley until you find us).
We will go past the transition area so those doing the triathlon on Sunday can see how it works before we finish up around 7pm and head to Liquid NZ Bar for a celebratory drink. Kirsten has kindly organised for us to get some great deals - $5 house wines or beers.
Liquid NZ Bar is located at 75 Bridge St, (across the road from Shoe Clinic). If you want, Kirsten also informs me that there is a weekly quiz evening on from just after 8pm, so if you want to continue on and test your mental powers then please do.
I have emailed you all a feedback form, which I would be grateful if you could print, complete and bring with you on Wednesday (or pop in the post, address supplied at bottom of form). To ensure a fourth series is run, I need to be able to provide an accurate and reflective account of the series. It is also important to hear ideas about how to continually improve the series to make sure it is meeting the needs of those that register. If you started out, and then decided it wasn't for you - then your feedback is also vital. Please also make sure you include some positives in there, it is often easy to fill out a feedback form and focus on all the things that could be different, rather than also reflecting on what worked well.
In the meantime, as always, keep active.
